Abstract :
A hybrid system of a fuel cell and battery connected to a non-linear load is presented in this paper. As the load is subject to change drastically, a control system is designed to protect the fuel cell against sudden change of load power. In order to design control system, numerous experiments have been performed on fuel cell and battery to determine the time constants. Modeling and analysis of the system as welt as simulation and experimental results are presented.
