Abstract :
We propose a novel design in PCFs with ultra-flattened dispersion characteristics controllability taking non-uniform air-hole structures in innermost rings. As an example, the proposed PCF with flattened dispersion of plusmn0.27 ps/(kmmiddotnm) from 1.5 mum to 1.8 mum wavelength with confinement losses of less than 10-11 dB/m.
