Abstract :
An optically fed millimeter-wave wireless link has been successfully demonstrated incorporating microstrip patches. The MM-wave signal was generated via a novel optical generation technique. This method uses an actively mode-locked semiconductor laser in conjunction with an optical filter to generate the MM-wave modulated optical signal with 100 % modulation depth.
