Abstract :
Analog to digital converters (ADC) are one of the most critical blocks in the area of electronics. This paper presents two new circuits for Gray-code current-mode analog to digital conversion which employs absolute value operation. The implementations of two different 5-bit converter circuits are discussed in this paper. 0.25 mum CMOS technology with 5 V power supply voltage is used for the circuits
