Abstract
In recent years, the idea of exploiting chaotic signals in communication systems has received widespread attention. The main aim of the current research in chaos communications has been to develop simple, low cost, low power transceiver solution providing adequate performance in real-time environments. This paper presents the design, simulation and hardware implementation of a noncoherent chaos-based communication system for low cost, low power applications. The designed system has data rate capabilities up to 200kbps together with a power efficiency figure of about 10.126 mW/MS/s
