Abstract :
We report nanostructure construction of two-crossing SWNTs fabricated by AFM manipulation. SWNTs used for this study were dissolved in water with the liquid surfactant TRITON/sup R/. The solution was dispersed on a Si substrate, and dipped into dichloroethane to clean up the surface of the SWNTs. Visualization and manipulation were performed in air using a noncontact AFM.
