Abstract :
This paper studies the operating principle of phase-shifting (PS) full-bridge (FB) zero-voltage-switched (ZVS) converter and analyses particularly its topology, based on which it is found that PS FB ZVS converter is exactly equivalent to a buck converter topologically. Therefore, the complex phenomena such as bifurcation and chaos that are found frequently in buck converters can also arise in PS FB ZVS converter. Simulations validate this conclusion and some typical waveforms are provided
