Abstract :
The first demonstration of self-established noncollinear operation in the idler-counter-propagating mirrorless optical parametric oscillator is presented using periodically poled KTiOPO4 having 800 nm period. The noncollinear geometry is employed for enhanced output wavelength tuning.
