Abstract :
A sudden change in the phase, amplitude or frequency of the stator voltage causes an undesired pulsation in the electrical torque. Field-oriented control strategy for the induction motor is a method to control and improve this transient. The authors show an alternative means to control an electromagnetic transition between the starting and the ending stationary state of the induction motor. The result is a time limited transition and no pulsation of the electrical torque
