Abstract
This paper is a study of TCP steady state throughput model and its analysis following the work done by Padhye. Based on the statistical data of measurement and the impact of slow start period after the timeout, we proposed a TCP steady state throughput analytic model. We show the comparison of the model and the result of measurements. From the real measurement, this new model shows a more accurate prediction of the TCP throughput.
