Abstract :
A novel inductive power transfer system based on planar transformer technology was presented in this paper. Inductive power transmission technology and planar transformer technology was combined. It was characterized by small volume, high energy density, low loss, large cooling area, good characteristic for current and many other advantages. At the same time, secondary parallel-compensation and primary series-compensation which influenced performance of the system were studied. The results were shown that secondary parallel-compensation and primary series-compensation could improve power transmission performance of the system significantly.
