Abstract :
A new active fault tolerant control method is proposed for a wide class of nonlinear systems. When the system works normally, the output feedback control strategy is introduced using an iterative learning observer, the controller is a function of the states of the iterative learning observer (ILO) and a tuning parameter. The fault estimation is introduced into the adaptive tuning rule of the tuning parameter to guarantee the stability of the post-fault system, leading to the fault tolerant control of the nonlinear system. Simulation results illustrate the validity of the method.
