Abstract
The authors investigate a power station represented by a 765 MW combinational block, consisting of a generator/steam turbine unit providing 652.5 MW an another unit providing 112.5 MW. The coal-fired once-through boiler is looked at. The conventional control scheme and a modified adaptive model reference control strategy are compared
