Abstract
Ben-Arieh and Chen presented a method for autocratic decision-making using group recommendations based on a new linguistic-labels aggregation operator, called the fuzzy-LOWA (FLOWA) operator. They also used an example to illustrate the process of converging towards a consensus to generate a group decision. Ben-Arieh and Chen´s method has a good contribution for handling autocratic group decision-making problems. However, the example presented by Ben-Arieh and Chen has some errors, which should be corrected. The purpose of this paper is to identify these errors and to provide the corrections to permit the readers who have been confused by the errors to gain a better understanding of Ben-Arieh and Chen´s method.
