Abstract :
This work addresses the design of corrugated horns with arbitrary shape profile. The optimisation is carried out by a simplex algorithm. The analysis is performed by a hybrid method based on the segmentation technique, the finite-element and a matrix Lanczos-Pade algorithm (SFELP), adapted to problems with axial symmetry. An example design is presented to verify the technique
