Abstract
This paper reveals the absorption characteristics of a newly developed electromagnetic absorber. The absorber is a quasi-incombustible organo-ceramic which contains ferrite powder, cement and phenol resin. The return loss is higher than 20 dB in the frequency range of UHF to 8 GHZ. The effective frequency range can be changed to desired frequency band by adjusting the ferrite/cement ratio.
