Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of the power control technique, the coding, and the interleaving depth on the performance of code-division multiple-access (CDMA) systems with different chip rates and rake receivers with different numbers of taps. We consider the implications of the results for the support of voice and data services in a cellular CDMA system
