Abstract
We develop an adaptive interference suppression scheme for DS-CDMA systems in the presence of impulsive noise. This scheme is realized by deriving an infinitesimal perturbation analysis based stochastic gradient algorithm that minimizes the average probability of error for such systems. The resulting detector outperforms the conventional matched filter detector for such systems
