Abstract :
The performance is evaluated for a hypothetical CDMA digital cellular telephone system whose reverse link uses π/4-DQPSK modulation and equal gain RAKE diversity combining. The results are shown numerically in comparison with those for Qualcomm´s (IS-95) CDMA cellular system, which uses 64-ary orthogonal modulation on the reverse link
