Abstract
Wireless networks are becoming heterogeneous and this feature introduces new challenges to testing. Using the network architecture that is being defined to implement the future European eCall infrastructure and vehicle to vehicle communication, an approach to develop testing specifications for the system and its components is presented. Conformance, interoperability and network integration testing are considered. The approach proposed is based on the RM-ODP model to derive the conformance points, the use of UML to specify the test system and TTCN-3 to write the test cases
