Abstract :
A new linearizer concept is proposed. The proposed linearizer generates even-order distortion in a frequency band different from the transmission band. This linearizer can control the distortion independently of the incident signals and compensate an almost saturated HPA. The output backoff is improved by about 1 dB which means a power efficiency improvement of about 5%.
