Abstract
The problem of approximate H∞ identification is considered. A basis using the Faber-Schauder and Franklin systems is constructed in the disc algebra and the partial sum operators on this basis are used to obtain approximate models. A linear identification procedure has been developed to obtain the model parameters from frequency response measurements
