Application framework of Web Service based on metadata-principle and practice

Web Service is the preferred technical means to data release, the scientific and technological resource database also used this approach. However, traditional approach to develop a Web Service has some shortcomings such as heavy workload and high cost. Aimed at this shortcoming, an application framework of Web Service based on metadata can improve efficiency and reduce costs This article describes three aspects. The first part describes the principle of using metadata to create Web Service. The second part gives the detailed description about the architecture and implementation procedure of the application framework. Finally, key techniques involved are expounded.
