Abstract :
A fuzzy control scheme has been proposed to enhance the stability of power systems. The control rules based on the phase plane give operation quantity to each detail part. Various simulations have been performed subject to several types of large and small disturbances by using a one-machine with an infinite-bus system. In addition, comparison studies have been made by the conventional power system stability and the other control methods. The results show that the stable region of power systems is enlarged by the proposed fuzzy control scheme
