Abstract :
Starting from the general principle of eliminating all of the pulsational e.m.f.´s in the machine (associated to amplitude variations of the flux linkage space phasors) a new control strategy for doubly converter fed slip ring induction machines based on the simultaneous and direct machine torque and the stator and rotor fluxes control is proposed. Simulation results show clear improvements in torque response time and in d-axis current control over previous developments
