  • Abstract
    This paper demonstrates the relationship between generator affinity and voltage profile improvement. Circuit theory and the partitioned Y-admittance matrix were used to derive the generator affinity for power system networks. Results show that the lowest voltages occur at buses without generator affinity. Locating generators (pseudo generators) such that buses are within generators affinities significantly improves the overall voltage profile.
