Abstract :
This paper presents an efficient semi-parallel overlapped LDPC decoding algorithm for WiBro portable subscriber station. We use the dual-diagonal parity matrix structure that the check node update and variable node update can be executed concurrently. With this algorithm, decoding can be completed within 72.2% of clock cycles, compared with non-overlapped decoding.
