Abstract :
We have succeeded in demonstrating the reconciliation of low current swing operation and high-performance electrical transmission for electro-absorption modulators (EAM) with high impedance termination and the filter (capacitor - inductor - capacitor) for the integrated package of 100 Gb/s Ethernet. Reducing operating current of 15% and clear eye-openings of an optical modulated waveform with the mask margin of 47% is achieved.
