Abstract :
In this paper, we present a generalized principal ratio combining (PRC) for STTC-OFDM in quasi-static flat fading and frequency selective fading environments. As the number of receive antennas increases, the decoding complexity of PRC decreases but the performance degradation increases. In the proposed scheme, we sheave the receive antennas into Q groups and the PRC decoding method is applied to each group. This shows a flexible tradeoff between decoding complexity and performance. The computer simulations also corroborate the results.
