Abstract :
The novel algorithms of cross-color noise reduction for NTSC signals are proposed. These algorithms eliminate cross-color noise using motion-adaptive chrominance filters and cross-color detection technique in black/white screen. For the real-time test, Altera FPGA is utilized to implement and test the NTSC video decoder which includes motion-adaptive chrominance filters and cross-color detection technique.
