Abstract :
This paper provides hybrid circuits which consist of RTD based quantum dot structure and CMOS circuitry. Several Boolean logics, OR, AND, XOR, MCF (majority carrier function), and full adder are implemented using the hybrid circuits. Combining strong points of each of quantum dot structure and CMOS, the hybrid circuits represent superior characteristic in terms of power consumption, area, and propagation delay to conventional counterparts.
