Abstract :
Gyroscope is very important in the navigation, and several calibration methods are proposed to improve the accuracy of gyroscope by vibration table, such as mean method, harmonic analysis method and least square method. However the noise influence and using condition are not investigated for these methods. This paper presents a study on noise influence to these calibration methods. Meanwhile the using conditions are demonstrated for each method. The principle of vibration test on gyroscope drift error calibration is introduced. For the gyroscope calibration, mean method, harmonic analysis method and least square method are introduced and analyzed based on vibration test. These calibration methods with and without noise influence are investigated by simulation. Combining of the simulation results and the test procedure, the using conditions and estimate accuracy of each method are demonstrated. It is very helpful to select the suitable estimate method for different test condition.
