Abstract :
The facility to add synchronized lyrics to music is not available on any consumer electronics (CE) device. This mechanism though available on a personal computer (PC) through software applications, is not user-friendly. In this paper, we propose a mechanism of introducing an audio segmentation assisted synchronized lyrics editing feature in CE devices. The proposed mechanism takes into consideration the resource-constrained environment of CE devices and the typical end-user sensitivities in operating a CE device.
