Abstract :
This paper presented an implementation of a baseband processor compliant with the IEEE 802.11a standard. Some innovative techniques were proposed to improve performance. For verification and analysis of the design, we used a platform-based SoC design environment. The system consisted of a test-bed for the proposed baseband processor chip and the SoC platform implemented IEEE 802.11a MAC.
