Abstract
In this paper, as a result of the great damage suffered by the Great East Japan Earthquake, we propose the Integrated Disaster Management Support System that utilizing the Large Scale High-Definition Visualization Unit (Tiled Display Wall) in the disaster countermeasures headquarters established in each local government, when a large-scale disaster occurs. In this system, the various damage information and evacuation center information transmitted from various communications infrastructures and communication devices are included in the integrated disaster management support system on the large scale high-definition visualization unit installed in the disaster countermeasures headquarters. Therefore, we aim at the construction of a total management system that can be managed in a unified manner according to a category for information indispensable to disaster countermeasures headquarters, such as a evacuation center image, the number of evacuees, a collapsed houses condition and road damage condition.
