  • Abstract
    This paper presents efficient methods to compress time code aimed at karaoke application by utilizing the linguistic and musical characteristic of karaoke. In particular, we propose a novel codeword rule for the beat of music. Experimental results show that our proposed methods drastically reduce time code.
