Abstract :
This paper presents an OFDM synchronization algorithm, which utilizes the training cyclic prefix. The algorithm, which conquers the problem of only utilizes training sequence or cyclic prefix, not only improves the performance of symbol timing and fractional frequency offset estimation, but also estimates the integral frequency offset under certainty range. The complexity of this algorithm is very small; simulation shows this algorithm completely solves the synchronization acquisition problem of OFDM system in practice.
