Abstract :
Presents a CSC (controlled series compensators) control strategy that consists of three different stages, each of which has a different purpose and approach. The effectiveness of the propose control strategy was tested on a single machine infinite bus power system associated with one CSC. Computer simulation results show that, using the proposed control strategy, the CSC can significantly reinforce power system stability
