Abstract :
A pulse design algorithm was proposed to create UWB pulse based on the relation among the peak frequency, the bandwidth of -10 dB and the FCC spectral mask using the modified Hermite polynomials. The algorithm we proposed can lead to design a series of UWB pulses which meet the FCC requirements. Namely, it can figure out all shape factor of MHP and give out the range of shape factor.
