Abstract :
Network measurement is a key technology for network performance analysis and is becoming more and more important in the Internet research fields. In this paper we propose an integrated scheme for network measurement system called IntNMS, which is based on Web service technologies. The system architecture and modules are designed and implemented. IntNMS is able to integrate various measurement systems into a uniform platform which is highly flexible and scalable. In IntNMS, all kinds of measurement components are convenient to deploy. These merits are very important for the large-scale, distributed network measurement system. Additionally, we show the feasibility of IntNMS in network measurement through a case study.
