Abstract :
The integration method of packet switching and circuit switching in the actual implementation of ISDN is considered. The advantages of packet-switching subsystem architecture introduced in Fujitsu´s digital-switching system FETEX-150 are shown, from the viewpoint of a practical and flexible ISDN implementation. A practical three-stage approach to meet the growing ISDN packet traffic services is proposed.<>
