Abstract :
In May, Shanghai hosted the inaugural CES Asia consumer electronics show. CES Asia is a spin-off of the wellknown International CES event that takes place every January in Las Vegas. The Consumer Electronics Association, which owns both shows, believes that CES Asia could one day rival???and even eclipse???its American counterpart. For now, though, CES Asia is a much smaller affair, with a fraction of the exhibitors and events of International CES.
