            Abstract :
This paper presents a wide-band power amplifier (PA) driver with matched output. A dual-loop cross-coupled feedback is applied on a simple two stage core amplifier. The use of a dual-loop feedback provides a broad-band 50 Ω output match without the use of any area consuming matching networks. The PA driver exhibits a gain higher than 6.4 dB, more than +1.9dBm 1-dB compression point with S22 less than -22 dB at the output, while dissipating 42 mA from a 1.8V supply. The output 1P3 is better than +13.9 dBm at 2.4 GHz.
