Abstract
Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signal is widely used both in military and commercial communications. Because of the low power spectrum density, it is very difficult to detect in non-cooperative communications. In this paper, a novel detection algorithm was proposed based on Haar wavelet transform (HWT). The characteristics of DSSS signal after HWT was analyzed firstly, then the detection algorithm was implemented by calculating the second order moments of autocorrelations in wavelet domain. Simulation results show that the proposed method performs well in low SNR, and it is better than the representative method.
