Abstract :
Reflector antenna structural design is an integrated problem involving structural and electromagnetic performance analysis. The synthetic analysis is discussed in details of reflector antennas based on the coupled mathematical optimization model of structural-electromagnetic performances. The optimization procedure is developed based on the improvement of both the structural performances and electromagnetic performances. Finally, the coupled analysis platform is developed, which integrates the techniques of the data library management, the selection of optimization algorithm, and variable resolution and merge. An optimization analysis of a 16-m antenna is made by the platform with useful and satisfying result obtained showing the potential of optimization platform.
