Abstract
A novel centre-fed printed reflectarray using windmill elements is presented. The analysis of the structure and computation of the phase curves for the field reflected from the patches, needed for the design of the elements, have been carried out with the commercial software Ansoft HFSS. The reflectarray sample is a 37-elements structure, and the results have shown good pattern behaviour and symmetry. The highest measured gain is about 18 dBi with 1 dBi drop within 22% bandwidth at the centre frequency of 10 GHz.
