Abstract
To suppress the narrowband interference (NBI) in ultra-wideband (UWB) communication environment, a low sampling rate channelized digital receiver (CDR) is proposed based on the theory of CDR. By dividing the incoming signal into several subbands, a reduced ADC rate is utilized to sample the input signals in passband. Outputs from the subchannels with NBI are abandoned to achieve a better signal-to-interference ratio (SIR). The lost parts of incoming signals are estimated using the acknowledge of UWB spectrum. After discussing the mathematics model in the presence of NBI of additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel, detailed analysis and simulation results are given. It is indicated that the received SIR can be improved effectively with ADC rate reduced.
