Abstract :
The surface integral equation method is applied for the electromagnetic analysis of Multilayers or Stacked Micostrip Patch Antennas. The method is based on the EFIE-PMCHW formulations with Galerkins type discretization. Boundary conditions are classified to three cases to be treated respectively. Then the linearly dependent and zero unknows on interfaces and at junctions are removed from the matrix equations. As an application of the method to practical problems, two examples are considered. The accuracy of the numerical results is confirmed by comparison with ANSOFT HFSS.
