Abstract :
In this paper, an evaluation method for the diagnosability of nonlinear fault is studied. The diagnosability is given as the detectability and the separability. And based on the principle of differential geometry, an evaluation criterion to the detectability of nonlinear fault is given, as well as an evaluation criterion to the separability of nonlinear fault, after proofed. An example of nonlinear momentum wheel system is given to evaluate its fault diagnosability.
