Abstract :
A new kind of method on slot antenna´s miniaturization is presented in this paper in order to meet the UHF band RFID reader´s miniaturization design requirements. Two quarter wavelength slots are used on slot antenna to increase resonant circuit, and then increasing the bandwidth of this antenna. In this paper, various parameters on antenna performance are analyzed particularly. Simulation and experimental results show that the antenna works in the UHF band with good gain and bandwidth characteristics.
